TITLE: Design Intern
DEPARTMENT: DESIGN & PRODUCTION
DESCRIPTION:
Seeking interns that are eager to learn fashion design through hands on experience. The bulk of the internship is administrative and works directly with our designers and production coordinator. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend fittings and assist with various aspects of clothing design, merchandising, and production.
• Assist designers and technical team on developing our collection
• Developing fabric and trim boards
• Research and source on trims/buttons, etc
• Maintaining fabric/trim libraries
• Hand flat sketching is a must
• Photoshop/Illustrator skills are preferred but not required
• Spec Garments
• Prepare cutter's musts and cutting tickets
• Must be organized and able to multi-task
